How to Switch Between Card View and List View

Editing & Customizing Shots

The ShotKraft shot list app gives you two ways to work: a visual Card View and a compact List View. Pick whichever fits the moment.

Overview

Choose the editing layout that fits your workflow.

Steps

Use the view toggle in the top-right area of the shot panel to switch between Card View and List View at any time. Your preference is remembered per project.

Card View

The default view. Each shot is displayed as a full card with type, subjects, description, and image (if generated).

Best for: building your shotlist visually, referencing the script while you work, reviewing coverage scene by scene.

List View

A compact, row-based layout showing all shots in a condensed list.

Best for: quickly scanning and editing many shots at once, reviewing shot types in bulk, moving through a long scene fast.

Tips

Both views show the same shots and save to the same data — switching won't lose or change any of your work.
