Why Is the Generate Images Button Greyed Out?

Image Generation
If clicking "Generate Images" does nothing, a reference image may already be occupying that shot's image slot.
Overview
Each shot in ShotKraft holds one image at a time — either an AI-generated image or an uploaded reference image, but not both. If a shot already has an uploaded reference image attached, AI generation won't run for that shot.
What's happening
When you click "Generate Images" and the button appears greyed out or nothing happens, it usually means your shots already have uploaded images. The generator skips those shots silently.
How to fix it
Open the shot that isn't generating.
Check whether a reference image is already attached (look for a thumbnail on the shot card).
To generate an AI image instead: remove the uploaded image first, then click Generate.
Mixing uploaded and generated images
You can use both approaches in the same project — each shot independently uses whichever method you choose. Upload reference images on shots where you have the exact look you want, and let AI generate the rest.
