How to Choose a PDF Export Layout

Exporting
Shot list or storyboard? You don't have to choose. ShotKraft exports the same shots as a text-only shot list for the AD's clipboard, an image-led shot list for look discussions, or a printable storyboard grid.
Overview
Your shot list PDF comes in five layout modes, so the export matches how you'll use it on set — a dense overview for fast days, big images for look discussions, or a printable storyboard. You pick the layout every time you export, and you can re-export in a different mode whenever you need.
Steps
Open your project and click Export in the shot list panel.
In the export panel, choose PDF as your format.
Pick a layout mode:
Small — 7 shots per page with thumbnail images. The densest option; best for a full-scene overview.
Medium — 4 shots per page with a square image and expanded shot details. The everyday default.
Large — 2 shots per page with full-width reference images. Best when the image is the point — look discussions with your DP or cast.
Text Only — no images, every field, fewest pages. Best for quick printing and the AD's clipboard.
Storyboard — landscape 3×2 grid, six frames per page. Your reference images front and center, ready to pin to the wall.
Click Save & Export to generate your PDF.
Tips
Every export is saved in your Exports panel, so you can keep a Text Only version for printing and a Storyboard version for the wall — from the same shot list.
Shots without reference images still export cleanly in image modes; if most of your shots have no images yet, Text Only will give you the tightest document.
