Working in Table View

Overview

Table View shows a default set of columns when you first open it, but you can choose exactly which fields appear — hiding columns you don't need and showing ones that matter most for your project. Your column preferences are saved per project, so you won't have to reconfigure them every time you come back.

How to Show or Hide Columns

  1. In Table View, click the Columns button in the top-right area of the table toolbar. A dropdown panel will appear listing all available fields.

  2. Each field has a toggle next to it. Fields that are currently visible have their toggle turned on; hidden fields are toggled off.

  3. Click any toggle to show or hide that column. The table updates instantly — no need to save.

  4. Click anywhere outside the panel to close it.

Available Columns

You can show or hide any of the following fields:

  • Shot Number — always visible, cannot be hidden

  • Shot Type — wide, medium, close-up, etc.

  • Subject — who or what is in the shot

  • Location — the specific location or set (post-beta)

  • INT / EXT — interior or exterior (post-beta)

  • Camera — camera assignment

  • Lens — focal length or lens choice

  • Notes — any additional notes on the shot

  • Special — special equipment or requirements

Tips

  • If your table feels crowded, hide columns you don't actively use during prep — you can always bring them back.

  • Some columns are hidden by default to keep the table clean. Turn them on when you're doing a detailed technical pass.

  • Hiding a column doesn't delete any data — it just removes it from view. All field values are still there and fully editable in Card View.

  • You can adjust the width of a column by hovering over the table header and dragging the right edge of the column.
