How to Edit and Reorder Shots in Table View

Working in Table View

Overview

Table View isn't just for reading your shot list — you can edit shot details directly in the table, drag shots into a new order, and delete shots you no longer need. All changes sync instantly with Card View, so your project always reflects what you see.

How to Edit a Shot Inline

  1. In Table View, find the shot you want to edit.

  2. Click any editable cell in that row — for example, the Shot Type, Location, or Notes field. The cell will highlight with a purple border to show it's active.

  3. Make your change. For fields with a fixed list of options (like Shot Type), a dropdown will appear — select the value you want. For free-text fields, type directly into the cell.

  4. Press Enter or click anywhere outside the cell to save. Your change is applied immediately.

How to Reorder Shots

  1. Hover over the row you want to move. A drag handle (⠿) will appear on the left side of the row.

  2. Click and hold the drag handle, then drag the row up or down to its new position.

  3. Release to drop the shot into place. The shot numbers will update automatically to reflect the new order.

Note: You can only reorder shots within the same scene. Dragging a shot across a scene boundary is not supported — to move a shot to a different scene, edit its scene assignment in Card View.

Note: If you have sorted your shotlist, dragging and dropping a shot will override the sort order.

How to Delete a Shot

  1. Hover over the row you want to delete.

  2. Click the Delete icon (trash can) that appears on the right side of the row.

  3. A confirmation prompt will appear asking you to confirm the deletion. Click Delete to confirm, or Cancel to keep the shot.

Tips

  • Inline editing is available for most fields. A few fields (like the generated image) can only be changed in Card View.

  • If you accidentally delete a shot, there's no undo — double-check before confirming.

  • Drag-to-reorder works in both grouped and ungrouped views.
